Lee founded HRC® in 1985 and is currently a Principal and co-owner of HRC®. After receiving a degree in Economics at the University of Cincinnati he held several positions with major corporations including Corporate Vice President, Human Resources for a multi-division organization. Lee is certified by HRCI as a Senior Professional (SPHR) and by SHRM at the Senior level (SHRM-SPC). He also served with the United States Air Force as a Senior Combat Weapons Controller and Instructor (Captain).
Lee has been recognized for developing, inspiring and encouraging people to build high performance teams. He specializes in designing compensation and reward plans.
When not assisting clients, Lee has been active in the Olympic Sport of Rowing. He serves as a Juge-Arbitre, Chief Judge and Clinician, training and certifying officials to conduct rowing regattas throughout the US.
Lee is married to Paulette, a Professor/Supervisor at Xavier University (Department of Education). They have 2 daughters and 2 grandchildren. Both share a passion for travel, interacting with all cultures of the world.
Diane has dedicated her career to helping HR professionals and other leaders enhance their leadership, as well as their systems and processes. She is principal and co-owner of HRC®. Diane is certified at the senior level by HRCI (SPHR), and by SHRM (SHRM-SPC), and is also a Certified Coach.
Diane’s passion is coaching executives and managers to become more effective, strategic leaders. She assists them in making significant contributions and attaining their career dreams. She also spends her days in developing and implementing client compensation plans and other HR processes, while ensuring that these processes are aligned with business strategies and company values. Diane has served as board director of several organizations for over 15 years, and currently is a director of a start-up organization.
Diane loves spending time with her family. (They are the best!) She also enjoys traveling and secretly wants to work at the elbow of a famous chef to get a glimpse into the world of culinary masters.
Wayne Owens, HRC®’s Master Trainer, has a passion to deliver impactful training solutions designed to maximize High Performance, and cultivate a workplace of accountability and quality of work-life. Wayne’s expertise is in 21st Century Leadership, Management/Supervisory Development, and Workforce Engagement. His participants connect with his training approaches, high performance principles, facilitation style, and pragmatic advice.
He is best known for his “House of High Performance Model,” used daily by Managers, Supervisors, and HRC® client organizations to develop and maintain high potential performers. His Coaching Process has proven to change the skills and behaviors of leaders and performers alike, so that they overcome their barriers to effectiveness.
Wayne completed his Master of Education Degree at Xavier University, with an emphasis on Adult Education, Human Resource Development. He is an active member of the international Association for Talent Development. He has received a variety of accommodations for his outstanding work, including “Facilitator of the Year,” Hamilton County, Ohio.
When not in a conference or training room, Wayne loves to spend quality time with his 7 grandchildren or take an 18 hole “walkabout” on a nearby golf course.
Jerri thrives on helping HRC® clients turn challenges into opportunities for success. Her broad and deep experience as an HR practitioner for a global manufacturing and service company makes her a valuable partner. She tackles complex HR issues, such as employee relations challenges, process improvements, updating or establishing HR systems and organizational development.
Jerri grew up in the Texas panhandle but has called Cincinnati home for the last 35 years. She enjoys a night out for dinner prepared by her Chef son and live music.
She is active in the Cincinnati area HR community, and her expertise is demonstrated through the certifications as a Senior Professional Human Resources Manager and the Society of Human Resources Manager – Senior Certified Professional.
Julie has devoted her career to elevating the human resources function in organizations. She has held the senior human resources leadership role with organizations in many different industries driving business results through great human resources processes and developing high performing teams. Julie holds a BS in Human Resources Management and is certified with the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) as a Senior Certified Professional and the Senior Professional in Human Resources through Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI). She has a proven track record of success facilitating solving complex business challenges with senior leaders through their teams of people and processes. Her varied experience over 20 years makes her a valuable business partner.
Julie is known for her expertise in developing strategic leaders, driving culture change, performance management, coaching, and knowledge of exemplary human resources processes. She is passionate about developing strong leaders who will make a lasting impact on the people in the organizations they serve.
Julie’s passion to elevate the human resources profession is evident by her volunteer roles leading local and state level SHRM groups.
When Julie is not serving clients or volunteering with SHRM you will find her traveling and exploring new places. She enjoys music, art, great food, and spending time with her family.
Sarah brings almost a decade of experience in a range of progressive Human Resources roles. She is a well-rounded HR professional with expertise in HRIS Management, Compensation, Recruitment, Employee Relations, and Employee Engagement. With her role in HR, Sarah enjoys partnering with her clients to meet their specific needs by matching them with the best human resource solutions to reach their goals. She is an accomplished team builder that cultivates close relationships with her clients and between client management and employees.
Sarah earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Ecology from The Ohio State University. She keeps up to date with HR education and current regulations and is currently pursuing her certification from the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM).
In her free time, Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband, two young children, and two dogs. She is an avid Ohio State Buckeyes and Cincinnati Bengals fan and enjoys watching the games with her family.
Michelle’s knack for identifying problems and improving performance outcomes makes her a great business partner to help solve complex human resource issues for her clients. Michelle is a strategic thinker who challenges people to stretch into what is unfamiliar and look for unique ways to find solutions. Michelle is experienced in all aspects of human resources but particularly excels in the areas of Total Rewards (including compensation and benefits), Performance Management, driving cultural change, and providing solutions to operations challenges and creating efficiencies.
Michelle’s strong desire towards servant leadership is evidenced by her continuous commitment to serve in many leadership roles on boards throughout her career.
When Michelle is not practicing human resources, she can be found enjoying time with her husband and three grown children. She enjoys cooking and traveling and is a passionate advocate and coach for personal well-being strategies.
